Although there are many good clubs in Laguna Woods Village, Community Bridgebuilders is one of the best. In a world often filled with hate and dissension, the club's goal is to build bridges between people, attempting to reduce fear and hate. The project "One Song 300 Voices" brought together almost 300 people who learned to sing together a beautiful song of love, peace, and hope. Thank you to so many people that made this event a reality -- Rebeca Gilad, President of the club and her staff, the All Musicians Club members who supported the the singers with their instruments, all the residents of the Village who sang together so beautifully, the TV6 staff who recorded, edited, and posted the event, the director, Leeav Sofer, and finally, the composer of the song, Mitchell Jay. The event was a beautiful experience that I'll hold dear forever.
